Positive. With two little lines on a pregnancy test, everything in Lizzy Rollins’ ordinary life is about to change forever. And all because of one big mistake in Vegas with Ben Nicholson, the irresistibly sexy bass player for Stage Dive. So what if Ben’s the only man she’s ever met who can make her feel completely safe, cherished, and out of control with desire at the same time? Lizzy knows the gorgeous rock star isn’t looking for anything more permanent than a good time, no matter how much she wishes differently.
Ben knows Lizzy is off limits. Completely and utterly. She’s his best friend’s little sister now, and no matter how hot the chemistry is between them, no matter how sweet and sexy she is, he’s not going to go there. But when Ben is forced to keep the one girl he’s always had a weakness for out of trouble in Sin City, he quickly learns that what happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay there. Now he and Lizzie are connected in the deepest way possible…but will it lead to a connection of the heart?
I love the Stage Dive series. Simple really, especially Play. That book is my all time FAVORITE book, so I was understandably excited for Deep’s release.
Lizzie and Ben met through family. Literally, Liz’s older sister is married to Ben’s band mate Mal. So it was inevitable that they were going to meet, however for them both it was lust at first sight. Unfortunately, Liz is only 20 and Ben is 28 so their mutual friend’s do not agree with them being close, after a few texts and a hook up one time in Vegas, it seem Poor old Lizzie & Ben were now going to be close regardless to what anyone wants.
I loved the premise of this story – the general storyline was good and I really enjoyed catching up with the whole Stage Dive gang however my main problem was the relationship between the two main characters, Ben was abit of an ass through most of it and Liz was so wishy washy with her feelings that I felt like screaming at the her to make her mind up already, but that being said when they did get on, it was Swoonworthy!
Ugh and can I just say I HATE Martha, I understand she is most likely going to be getting a book so some ground work had to be laid for a spin off series including some of the secondary characters maybe but man she grinds my goat!
The writing was once again Amazing and the humor in the book is top notch! Yet I felt this book fell short of the mark because it just felt a bit rushed.
I’m sad to see the series is over, but will most definitely be keeping it my reread pile 🙂
