MalevolentBlurbDarkness has a seductive power, a delicious energy that sinks its claws in deep. Once the devil has a hold of you, true malevolence is born.

Sheriff Brady James has sworn to protect the small town of Durham Heights, his current priority to ruthlessly hunt a sadistic killer on the loose. With lives at stake, his focus is split between two beautiful women – one dark, one light. The clock is ticking, the threat palpable; crawling closer at every turn. Once death has you in its sights, there is no escape.

Pain. Suffering. Lives shattered and broken. In the fight of good against evil, who will survive?

This is the first book in the Darkness series, a wishing evil upon others novel that can be read as a standalone.

Due to mature content and violent situations, this book is recommended for readers 18 years and up.

Malevolent (Darkness, #1)Malevolent by Cassia Brightmore

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holy. Shitballs.

I freakin’ loved it. Was dark, hot, full of twists & turns. Exactly what I was in the mood for.
I was sucked in to it from the get go, and honestly could not put it down.
The whole different people perspective was confusing at first but then I actually really enjoyed it being like that so I could really get inside each individual characters head and experience what they were feeling.

I managed to read until 76% this morning before I had to leave the house to go live my life outside of bookworld which was gay, but the whole time I was out, I was just itching to get back home and finish reading as I had to leave at such a crucial moment in the book. As soon as I arrived back home, I put my youngest down for a nap, sorted my eldest out with a movie and made us some popcorn so I could continue reading this masterpiece.
I am so glad that I read this book, so so glad. I literally sat there with my iPad in one hand and munching popcorn in the other, just kept turning the pages, it was that addictive. I kept a fair few people entertained on my Facebook with my commentary on updates through out the read.
Everyone needs to go one-click this book ASAP.

I am pumped for the next one in the series… BRING. IT. ON!

Congrats girl…
