It’s no secret that Portland, Oregon, has some of best restaurants, shops, and cafés in the country. But it’s the hard-working men who serve it all up that keep us coming back for more...
One of Portland’s hottest young baristas, Brady is famous for his java-topping flair, turning a regular cup of joe into a work of art. Every Wednesday—aka “Knit Night”—hordes of women and their needles descend on the coffeehouse, and Brady’s feeling the heat. Into the fray walks a tall, dark, and distractingly handsome stranger from New York. His name is Evren, and he’s the sexy nephew of Brady’s sweetest customer, the owner of the yarn shop down the street. He’s also got a killer smile, confident air, and masculine charm that’s tying Brady’s stomach in knots. The smitten barista can’t wait to see him at the next week’s gathering. But when he tries to ask Evren out, his plans unravel faster than an unfinished edge. If Brady hopes to warm up more than Evren’s coffee, he’ll have to find a way to untangle their feelings, get out of the friend zone, and form a close-knit bond that’s bound to last a lifetime…

* 3.5 Stars – 4 Stars *

Knit Tight was an easy good read, but I just wasn’t in love with it – which is a shame.

Brady & Evren relationship started off on a bad foot with Evren totally dismissing Brady once he learns he is bisexual which totally started me with bad feelings towards him and his attitude, after all love is love and it doesn’t matter what body parts a person has – an attraction is an attraction.

Then there was the whole both two busy for a relationship because they are both looking after people needing their full attention.

Brady sister was a big no no for me unfortunately, I was hoping she would redeem herself and bring something to the story but I feel like she could of been cut out and the story would of still moved on at the same pace, ya know? The other kids were cute, and I felt like Brady done an awesome job in raising them.

Evren’s ramblings were fun, I enjoyed reading his inside thoughts through the terms of Knitting and I absolutely adored his aunt.

Although, M/M romance don’t necessarily need to be full of sex, I found this book a bit of a let down when it comes to the steam/heat department – that could be down to Evren not like anal sex, however I felt Brady just being A-Okay with it abit meh…

All in all, a good quick story – I just felt it was lacking in that bit of Ooomph.
